The purpose of this policy is to inform you about the ways in which we process your personal data.
Rest assured, in collecting and managing your data, we comply with the applicable legal framework, in particular the 1978 law known as "Informatique et Libertés", and the European regulation of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter the " GDPR ").

When you use the Website, which is accessible at the following address https://www.spliiit.com/ (hereinafter, the " Site "), we may ask you to provide us with personal data concerning you in order to use our services (hereinafter, the " Services ").

- Identification and contact data (e.g. surname, first name, pseudonym, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number) and proof of identity,

Mandatory data are indicated when you provide us with your data. They are necessary to provide you with our Services.
If you choose to log in using a third-party authentication service (e.g. Google or Facebook), certain data such as your name, profile photo and email address may be retrieved from this service. By choosing this option, you agree to the disclosure of this data to us.

On what basis(s) are your data collected and used?
Contract
This collection is necessary to allow the conclusion of the contract enabling you to use our Services, referred to as pre-contractual measures, and then the execution of this contract.
Legitimate interest
When you voluntarily provide us with personal data, we collect it in order to respond to your requests for information on our Site or, if you are already a customer of Spliiit, to present you with similar products and services.
Consent
When you agree to receive our offers and news.
Legal obligation
When the processing of your data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject. This is notably the case when you wish to offer a subscription on our Site, and we verify your identity or respond to your request to exercise your rights.
For what purpose(s) are your data collected and used? 🔎

- To provide you with our subscription fee sharing services
- To build up a file of owners, subscribers and prospects
- To monitor the relationship with our customers
- To manage complaints, unpaid invoices and any disputes concerning our Services

2. Recipients of collected data 👀
Will have access to your personal data:
(i) Our teams, in particular our customer service
(ii) The services responsible for control (auditor in particular),
(iii) Our service providers, such as our external consultants,
(iv) Our subcontractors: hosting provider, audience measurement and analysis, customer relations,
(v) Our partner Lemon Way, which provides the electronic wallets necessary for the performance of our services and which carries out its own processing for this purpose, as described in its privacy policy.
(vi) Our partners such as Viva and PayPal, who provide the payment form for balance recharging.
Not forgetting (less fun) public bodies, court officers (bailiffs, notaries, etc.), ministerial officers and debt collection agencies.
In addition, some data is also visible and shared with the owner and/or your co-subscribers, such as your nickname, avatar or profile picture.
Your personal data will never be transferred, rented or exchanged for the benefit of third parties.
3. How long we keep your personal data 🗃
Data collected to provide our services, monitor customer relations and canvass our customers. The data is collected for the duration of the commercial relationship and 2 years thereafter.
Data collected for prospecting purposes. 2 years from collection of data or last contact with prospect.
Data required for evidential purposes: duration of legal statute of limitations (generally 5 years).
Accounting data (invoices, payment data): 10 years
Credit card data
- Retention for the time required to complete the transaction
- Retention in intermediate archives for 13 months after the transaction for evidence purposes (15 months in the case of deferred debit payment cards)
- If you have given your consent: retention for the duration of your use of the services in order to facilitate subsequent payments.
In the event of exercising your rights
- If we ask you for proof of identity: we keep it only for the time necessary to verify identity.
- If you exercise your right to object to receiving prospecting: we keep this information for 5 years.
4. Security 🔐
No need to worry! We (and our subcontractors) have taken all the necessary precautions, as well as the appropriate organizational and technical measures to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data.
5.Hosting 🏢
Your data is kept and stored for the duration of its processing on Scaleway's servers located in the European Union.
6. Transfer outside the European Union 🌍
Within the framework of the tools we use (see article "Recipients of collected data" concerning our subcontractors), your data may be transferred outside the European Union. The transfer of your data in this context is secured using the following tools:
- Either this data is transferred to a country that has been deemed to offer an adequate level of protection by a decision of the European Commission;
- Or we have entered into a specific contract with our subcontractors governing transfers of your data outside the European Union, based on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

We undertake to do everything in our power to respect your rights. However, if you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, the ‘CNIL’), whose task is to ensure compliance with the regulations applicable to the processing of personal data.
Right to define directives after your death
Relating to the conservation, deletion and communication of your personal data, and designating a person responsible for their execution if necessary.
You may send them to a trusted digital third party certified by the CNIL in the case of general directives, or to the contact details below for your specific directives.
You may modify or revoke your instructions at any time.
