Spliiit passes the million-subscriber mark
Spliiit, the French digital subscription-sharing platform, recently passed the million user mark, consolidating its position as European leader in the co-subscription market.
Founded in 2019 by Brice Vincent, Guillaume Lochard and Jonathan Lalinec, Spliiit enables users to share their subscriptions to various digital services, such as SVOD, music, video games, press, cloud storage, e-commerce, wellness, education and cybersecurity. This collaborative approach offers a cost-effective solution in the face of ever-increasing publisher prices, estimated at +26% by 2023 for the major streaming services.
Spliiit works simply: a user creates a sharing group for a specific subscription and invites others to join. The platform then distributes the subscription costs among the various members, facilitating sharing and savings. To date, over 250 subscription services are offered on the platform.
In 2023, Spliiit saved its users a total of 7 million euros, savings that are particularly welcome at a time of inflation and tighter subscription rules from several major international streaming giants.
Building on this success, Spliiit plans to strengthen its presence in Europe, with expansion ambitions in countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria and the UK. The aim is to become a must-have service and give consumers even more purchasing power.
In conclusion, Spliiit is revolutionizing the way consumers access digital services by offering an economical, collaborative alternative, while adapting to market trends and user needs.
