Paramount+ arrives in France: a new SVOD offering for the French
It's official: Paramount+ arrived in France on December 1. With a catalog of different universes (Showtime, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon...) the streaming platform joins the long list of SVOD services in France.
With over 4,000 programs on the platform, Paramount+ brings more content to the French, who are very interested in SVOD subscriptions. In fact, no less than 53.2% of French people claim to be regular users of at least one SVOD service. [1] That's 1 in 2 French people who subscribe to a streaming service. The Paramount+ platform was eagerly awaited in France, and has enjoyed a remarkable launch. This is confirmed by Spliiit, the subscription-sharing platform, since its arrival on the catalog, the offer represents nearly 10% of SVOD subscription requests from users of the service, and has thus climbed into the Top 3 of SVOD subscriptions in terms of new subscribers.

Spliiit, how does it work ?
Once registered, users can offer one of their subscriptions or subscribe to a co-subscription service. For the subscription holder, there's no need to chase after co-subscribers: each month, they pay their share directly on the platform. Everything is perfectly legal and secure. The start-up scrupulously respects the publishers' CGU and is accredited by the French banking regulator (ACPR). As for new subscribers, they will see their fees divided by 3 or 4 for their new subscription, unlike the rates offered by the various platforms.
In fact, Spliiit saves users an average of 200 euros a year.
